Massive mud mania indeed! The Boryeong Mud Festival an annual event held in Korea promote the use of mud cosmetics. It is said that the mud found in Boryeong, Korea is rich in minerals and has been very beneficial for the skin. During the festival period, tourists flock to the area to experience the beneficial properties of the Boryeong mud, and also to have lots of fun.
It was proven by prominent research institutions such as Korean Research Institute of Standards and Science, Korean Research Institute of Chemical Technology, Taepyungyang Technology Institution, Dr. Kim, Jae-baek and the team workers in Wonkwang Univ. etc. that Boryeong Mud cosmetics have much far-infrared factors good for the human body and also have higher Germanium, Mineral and Bentonite contents compared to other imported products. 




The 14th Boryeong Mud Fest 2011has just ensued on 16th to 24th of July 2011 in Dacheon, Korea.
